“My goal is help people find balance, understanding, and growth as they walk on their journey toward healing, and to help our participants connect to the power and the messages of the universe.”

Yvette views the therapeutic relationship as a partnership, working together to process unresolved issues, regain confidence, and rediscover inner strength. Ultimately, through newfound strength and skills, you are empowered to positively overcome obstacles and transform your life.

On this path, Yvette uses a variety of modalities, including: trauma-focused therapy, child-parent psychotherapy, behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, mindfulness, play therapy, and expressive arts.

She works with people across the lifespan who have experienced or witnessed trauma, community violence, childhood trauma, racial or multicultural identity issues, interpersonal conflict, life transitions, grief and loss, and anxiety. She has extensive experience working with caregivers and their children (birth-five years of age) who have experienced trauma.

In addition, she helps those who have experienced the sense of grief and loss connected to the death or loss of a pet or animal companion. Animal companions become very much a part of our family. She helps people process that loss in a nonjudgmental and supportive manner.

KATHERINE ROSS,

ALMFT

“I’ve been able to sense people’s energies and the energy that surrounds them since I was a young child. In my work as a therapist, I am called to help people incorporate their culture and spirituality and to be authentic to who they are without fear, shame or judgment.“

Katherine’s compassionate approach is based on the belief that the foundation of therapy is embedded in the connection she has with her clients. Having an energetic connection gives her a deeper understanding into how they may be feeling; helping her to support and collaborate with them to meet their unique needs.

Much of the therapy she does is through empowerment and highlighting her client’s strengths. She believes it is critical for them to see their value as beautifully unique and resilient individuals.

Her practice centers around helping individuals, couples and families cope with trauma, anxiety and depression, particularly children and families. She believes it is important to guide children as early as possible to develop self-love, which promotes development, balance and all around wellness.

For Katherine, the qualities and passion that embody her professionally and personally are one and the same. Her desire to relieve pain and suffering from others is what drives her the most.

Katherine’s Education and Experience

  • Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana.

  • Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from Adler University

  • Extensive research and clinical experience in parent-child relationships and attachment

BRIDGET IACCINO,

LCSW

“As humans I believe we all share the common need for authentic connection, acceptance, and meaning. And when we give ourselves opportunities to fulfill these needs, our potential is unlimited.”

Bridget’s passion for working with all participants is founded on her belief that people are more than what has happened to them and the difficulties they are facing. And at the same time she understands the impact traumatic and life-altering events can have on one’s sense of self, relationships, and overall outlook on life.
With this awareness Bridget offers a warm and non-shaming space for individuals, children, and families to come as they are and experience being heard, seen, and understood. Bridget strives to create a trusting and collaborative relationship to support participants towards not only coping with their challenges but bringing purpose and compassion towards them.

Bridget works with individuals, children, couples, and families to move through life transitions, interpersonal conflicts, and cope with trauma, anxiety, ADHD, and depression. Bridget is passionate about the mind body connection and how internal stressors often manifest themselves in our actions and outer worlds. She often utilizes somatic practices and meditation with participants in session to help them get out of the mind and into the body while building a tool kit for self healing.

Bridget’s Education and Experience

  • Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice and minor in Psychology from Loyola University in Chicago, Illinois.

  • Masters of Social Work with a specialization in Mental Health from Loyola University in Chicago, Illinois.

  • 8 years of a Yoga training and daily practice
